Fiscal Management

As Education Director at the South Carolina Aquarium, I developed, tracked, and reviewed an annual budget of $1.2 Million.

Major Donors

It’s really about match making - building relationships with people who want to make a difference and empowering them to see the value of collaborating with you to accomplish that.

Federal Grants

Over three years, I brought in $150K to Robert Down Elementary School in Pacific Grove, California as part of a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration BWET grant. The goals were to help students understand human impacts on sea otters, to connect classroom and field-based learning, and to establish a 1:1 ratio between students and technology.

Members - Partners and Potential Donors

Member programs connect members to the mission, make members feel valued, and create the sense that there is always something new - and just for them. Engaging members and donors is a skill in my wheelhouse.
